Bring the Democracy Discourse Index to your classroom
The Democracy Discourse Index (DDI) by GCRD and Sensika Technologies measures the moral and informational health of democracy through real-time analysis of public discourse. We're seeking faculty partners who can help us understand how democracy is expressed and experienced in digital spaces across the world.
If you are faculty in one of our pilot countries, we would like to hear from you:
Europe: Bulgaria, Kosovo, Albania, Greece, Germany, United Kingdom, France, Ireland, Belgium, Ukraine
North America: United States, Canada, Mexico
Africa: South Africa, Morocco, Nigeria
Asia: India, Pakistan, Philippines, Iraq
Latin America: Brazil
What We're Looking For
Faculty members in media and communication, political science, data science, journalism, international relations, sociology, or digital humanities who can:
Integrate the DDI research practicum into their coursework (Spring 2026)
Supervise student researchers working with the Sensika AI-powered platform
Contribute to a global network measuring democratic discourse across 20 countries
What We Provide
Full access to the Sensika Research Platform for you and your students
Comprehensive training and ongoing support
Recognition in the DDI 2026 Annual Report
