An expert policy dialogue on how the quality of public discourse can reveal democratic strain before it hardens into institutional crisis, and on what a proportionate response looks like while there is still time for one. Drawing on the Democracy Discourse Index and evidence from Bulgaria, Pakistan and the United Kingdom, the session brings scholars, practitioners and international officials into a single conversation about the relational foundations of democratic renewal.
