In anticipation of the upcoming deadline for the submission Democracy Discourse Index (DDI) Faculty Intake Form, we invite all interested university faculty to participate.
Why Participate?
We will answer any questions you might have on the benefits of participation, the time commitments, and how participation can be embedded into your current curriculum (such as journalism, mass communications, political science, or sociology) for the spring 2026 semester.
What is the DDI?
The DDI is a pioneering global initiative to measure the moral and informational health of democracy through real-time analysis of digital discourse. It captures how citizens experience and express democracy through their language, tone, empathy, curiosity, and respect for truth.
Developed by the Global Centre for Rehumanising Democracy (GCRD) in collaboration with Sensika Technologies, the project aims to build a living, data-driven portrait of democracy — its strengths, fractures, and emerging possibilities across up to 20 pilot countries spanning Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Americas.
